There is no contact form on this page. A form would collect and transmit your personal data, which would contradict the promise made in our privacy policy. Email and post are the two routes, and both are below.

What to write to us about

• A correction. Give the page address and the passage you believe is wrong. Our corrections procedure sets out what happens next.
• A data-protection request under the GDPR — access, erasure, rectification, objection. In most cases the honest answer is that we hold nothing about you beyond the email you have just sent.
• Something broken on the site, or anything that contradicts our no-cookies statement. We want to know.
• Permission to reuse text or a diagram from the site.
• Press and editorial enquiries.

What we cannot help with

We are an independent publication, not a software vendor and not a reseller. We cannot:

• install, activate, repair or uninstall any product;
• issue, reset or resend a licence key;
• cancel a subscription, stop an automatic renewal or process a refund;
• look up your order, your invoice or your account — we have no access to any seller's systems and we receive no personal data from them.

For all of those, contact the company you bought from, using the contact details on your order confirmation or invoice. If you are looking for a security vendor's support because of an email telling you your protection has expired, do not use any link in that email — open the vendor's site yourself. Section 7 of our main guide explains why.

Telephone

We do not publish a telephone number and we do not operate a phone line. All correspondence is handled in writing, which gives both sides a record. Please use email or post.

Languages

We correspond in English. Czech-language correspondence sent to the registered office will also be dealt with.

Supervisory authority

If you are unhappy with how we have handled a data-protection matter, you may complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, Czech Republic, or to the supervisory authority of the EU Member State where you live or work.
